Answers to life's burning questions

Will my soul mate return?

Dear Astrology Room

I have always had a great interest in Astrology and am quite typical of my sun sign since I have matured. I ended a long term relationship 2 years ago and have enjoyed the freedom of the single life ever since.

I have had a number of dates with a few different men but one of them has always stood out as being 'the one'. I'm not the type to become attached to anyone but this Aries male managed to sneak inside my heart, he says he isn't interested in a relationship and we have stopped talking in the past couple of months. I have continued to date other guys but every now and then I still feel a very strong connection (there were a few 'spooky' moments that I will never forget). I know that eventually over time I will forget him but I still feel like I lost someone very important to me, and wondered if there were any indications to suggest that we may be reconciled at some point? I look forward to your reply.

Thank you

Elouise

Dear Elouise

Thanks for writing to us for insight into your relationship query.  Well, first off, I'm not surprised you enjoy the free and easy single status you have developed. You have Aquarius rising, giving you an 'eye' for the freedom loving lifestyle, and it's timely to develop your self-sufficient attitude, which ironically, is a challenge for your Leo sun and Libran moon, the side of you which craves partnership. Now, Neptune has been banging around in this part of your chart - the cusp of Aquarius and Pisces - over the past year or so, perhaps giving you a sense of loss on one count, and yet a reverie, a sleepy, dreamy belief that you have a 'soul-mate' out there to, and it's easy to project this label on anyone, especially if he's a full-blooded lusting Aries. But this is an illusion. You know the guy isn't interested in a relationship - he has stated it frankly to you (as an Aries would if he were being totally honest) and yet you're doing a 'neptune' on yourself. You're dwelling on what might be, rather than what actually is. In all honesty, you're better off without him - however, with 'shake-up the status quo' planet Uranus cruising around in Aries, all Aries are right now, acutely unpredictable and he could turn up at your door with red roses, and then depart forever again.  However, this is more of a chance to wake up to the wonderful realisation that you need to go through this period of singledom to see who you truly are, so you can truly see the undermining or unconscious motives of others and their own personal ego trips in and out of people's lives.

Enjoy being you, and many blessings,

Sarah
