ARIES   Mar 21 - Apr 20

It’s important to steer clear of extra stress and strain, especially if dealing with workmates or an employer capable of making you feel you’re not driving yourself hard enough.    You may well have been the casualty of some subtle bullying.  And as Mercury enters another of its three-week retrograde phases, you’re likely to reflect on a period during which you’ve been heavily criticised for no apparent reason.   Hold on to your right to defend yourself.   It’s only natural that you’ll feel the need to object to behaviour which you consider to be unnecessarily aggressive.  But also avoid coming across as so sensitive that the people around you think you can’t roll with the punches.  You most certainly can - as you’re likely to prove - but you won’t put up with unfair treatment.  

 

TAURUS  Apr 21 - May 21

You’ll become excited that you’re being singled out for your achievements in the workplace or money-making endeavours but an instinct will warn you that you’re perhaps becoming a little too sure of yourself.   And certainly with Neptune at the high point of your chart opposing the Sun, you could be brought down to earth with a bump by loved ones who consider your home and family commitments to be just as important as your aims and ambitions in the outside world.   This is one of those times when you need to be totally realistic about how far you can go and how much you can achieve without reneging on other, vitally important responsibilities.   Never doubt your ability to multi-task and to achieve remarkable results in two or even more different areas at the same time.

 

GEMINI  May 22 - Jun 21

There’s likely to be one set of people urging you to be more ingenious and unconventional than usual while another group insists that you stick to tried and tested ways of working.   True, with Saturn at right angles to Pluto there could be tension in the air on several occasions when some of the people involved lose patience with one another.  You need to come up with a compromise that is original but without being risky or out of place.   And you can do it.  Just make sure that those involved are prepared to meet on middle ground and they don’t pursue heated discussions for the sake of it.  You know that it makes no sense to waste energy on arguments when you could be productive and creative. 

 


CANCER   Jun 22 - Jul 23

When it comes to your career, you've got the Sun opposing Neptune, which does suggest that you’ll be dealing with colleagues, employers or associates who have such an over-optimistic view of what needs doing that you’ll worry that they assume you can make everything fall into place.   Yes, you can achieve a lot - but you’re certainly not a miracle worker.   That’s a factor that needs spelling out.  You should also point out how difficult you find it when some people persist in putting forward ideas that would never be given approval by those conducting even the simplest feasibility study.   Although you don’t like to show your irritation with other people’s naiveté your tolerance might soon begin to wear thin.  A few words at this point could save a lot of trouble later on. 

 

LEO   Jul 24 - Aug 23  

Why go charging ahead with plans that other people are likely to reject?   Saturn is in conflict with Pluto which suggests that competitors will quickly find fault with anything you do which hasn’t been given the green light all round.  You might be inclined to be a maverick and risk coming in for criticism but you’ll soon decide that it’s really not worth the trouble.   You’ll also realise that with Pluto involved you could become rather more heavy-handed than you intend to and a fairly minor incident may lead to a long-term rift or separation.   There’s something rather nice about offering the olive branch to those who fully expect you to be the one stirring up trouble. Watch their faces and smile as you play the role of the peacemaker instead of the rebel.

 

VIRGO  Aug 24 - Sep 23

You have to remember too that this week Venus and Mars join forces in the section of your chart that is related to your career and your money.  And it’s likely that you’ll be having one or two conversations about ways in which you can expand your thinking and experience - and hopefully end up with more in the bank.  You need to make an effort to prove to someone in authority that although you subscribe to the principles and ways of working that you’re encouraged to follow, you would like at some stage to introduce a little more flexibility.   It’s fortunate that you’ve got Venus on your side because this means that you’ll be able to come up with proposals which - if suggested by anybody else - would cause offence.   But not with you.  

 

LIBRA  Sep 24 - Oct 23

As you survey the scene linked to your work or on-going responsibilities, you’ll decide it needs a huge injection of your special brand of creativity and originality.   And that’s fine except as the Sun clashes with Neptune people will object on the grounds that your ideas are airy-fairy.  At first you’ll want to respond quite aggressively.  But you’ll realise that you would be playing into their hands and it’s more effective to discuss your differences calmly and logically.  Anything difficult that has to be achieved will be done without the slightest hint of aggression or resentment.  And you needn’t give up the idea that you can eventually introduce your radical and highly inventive thinking to areas which up until recently have been too staid and formulaic for your liking.

 

SCORPIO  Oct 24 - Nov 22

Without going into panic mode pull out all the stops as far as a challenging project is concerned.   With the Sun hovering over the most visible point of your chart until Monday 23 August you still have time to remind everyone involved that when you set your mind on what needs doing there’s nothing and nobody that can get in your way.   You must however take steps to ensure that you’re not ignoring the latest guidelines from those in charge because they are likely to be concerned with cutting down waste, downsizing, recycling resources and re-investing profits.   This is not a time to behave as though money’s no object.  The more prudent you can be over the next week or so, the greater are your chances of being applauded and rewarded for your efforts.

 

SAGITTARIUS  Nov 23 - Dec 21

Take steps to ensure that a boss, colleague or associate understands your vision of the way in which a certain plan should be expanded.   You’ll be in an especially ambitious mood.  And that’s fine except that as Mercury changes direction as it hovers over a very decisive point in your chart, you might think that you and those involved are enjoying an excellent rapport with one another when, actually, the reverse is true.   Look for even the slightest hint then that you’re being misinterpreted or misunderstood and act on it.   There’s no point in allowing people to continue to get the wrong end of the stick.   Far better to stop proceedings there and then and go over them time and again until everyone involved fully understands everybody else and what’s likely to happen next.



CAPRICORN  Dec 22 - Jan 20

At first you’ll think a new deal or arrangement will prove to be too challenging.   But that’s only because of your usual reluctance to acknowledge your own competence and expertise.   A connection being made between Mars and Venus at a very visible point in your chart suggests that influential people will be drawn towards you and what you can do.   And they’ll refuse to believe that there’s anything required of you that you can’t manage admirably.  Rather than resist their suggestions that you’re pretty special, why not run with them?   The minute you start believing in yourself your confidence and your capabilities will soar.  That will be a great feeling for you.  In fact, you could soon be suggesting ways in which you might take on even more work and responsibilities.  Just don’t overdo it. 

 

AQUARIUS  Jan 21 - Feb 19

Don’t assume all your relationships are going to be difficult.  The strengthening of a bond between yourself and a colleague, partner or business associate will be extremely useful.  You have after all got the Sun making its way into one of the financial sections of your chart when it enters Virgo on Monday 23 August.   You’ve probably been fighting shy of proposing certain money-related or professional plans and projects to somebody you’re keen to impress.   You’ve imagined that what you’re coming up with will be viewed as rather ordinary or inadequate.  But that’s your stuff.  And you’ve got to let the Sun highlight your strengths while you minimise your inadequacies.    Remember you’ll be dealing with somebody who can recognise the kind of talent you have coursing through your veins.  Please don’t undersell yourself.

 

PISCES  Feb 20 - Mar 20

A relationship through which you might be able to expand yourself work-wise or make money will be demanding.  But you must take advantage of the fact that Venus is allied to Mars and reassess the true worth of this bond with a colleague or associate.  You should also be able to make more effort when it comes to ensuring that the two of you are working towards the same goals and that you share mutual respect for one another.   You certainly mustn’t allow apathy to seep into a deal or arrangement which can only be made to work if you and whoever else is involved tackle it head-on and are constantly firing on all cylinders.  It might not be very restful but it certainly will be lucrative if you get things right.
