ARIES   Mar 21 - Apr 20

The Sun is making its way through Virgo which means it's occupying the section of your chart tied to your routine work and areas in which you have to be seen to be very responsible indeed.  And it's probably proving hard for you to put on a brave face, to perform as normal and to meet other people's expectations of you while being distracted by whatever is going on in your private world.  You must work out which are the areas to which you have to give a major and committed contribution - and which can be left to take care of themselves for a while.   Make a list of priorities.  And promise yourself that you will get done what absolutely must be done but you won't give yourself a hard time over less pressing matters.

 

TAURUS  Apr 21 - May 21

Be guided by a helpful link between your ruler Venus and Mercury that occurs around the middle of the week.   This should help you see that you absolutely must discuss in full the order of things in which you're going to work and what you and the other people involved can afford to put on hold.  You should be able to come up with a language and a vocabulary that enables you to speak in very realistic terms but without sounding harsh or uncaring.  And it's also going to encourage you to listen very carefully because there seem to be one or two people who've been trying to tell you that they need things done their way - even if it conflicts with what you want.  Compromises can be invaluable at times like this.

 

GEMINI  May 22 - Jun 21

Capitalise on the Full Moon in Pisces illuminating the most powerful point in your chart.   Not only are you going to feel re-invigorated but you are also going to realise that there is a bright light shining in a dark corner where up to now you haven't been able to decide how best to do what needs to be done.   You are going to find that your head will clear and your thoughts will become much easier to put into action.  Just don't allow yourself to feel over-sensitive if one or two of your ideas aren't immediately seized by both hands with the other people who are closely connected to what you're planning or you’re working on.  People need time to consider ideas like those you're coming up with.  And you mustn't rush them.



CANCER   Jun 22 - Jul 23

Since the Sun is moving into Virgo you've a chance to become much more directive, communicative and assertive than usual.  And especially with the people you see on a daily basis, you're going to have to stop worrying about what they think of you and just say how it has to be.  You'll be surprised at how much respect they show to you once you make it clear that you're going to stick to your usual high standards and you're not going to be distracted by the way in which they try to unsettle you or overtake you.  You'll let them do what they want to do and you are going to remain focussed and single-minded because you've got a job to do, haven't you?  And you're going to do it brilliantly.

 

LEO   Jul 24 - Aug 23  

Make the most of the discovery that you're good at cutting your way through petty politics, red tape or unnecessary admin.   And, as the Sun allies itself to Pluto, show that you're determined to get to the root of what needs doing so that you and others can put anything of a mundane and workaday nature to one side and concentrate on more creative pursuits.   Just don't let Pluto encourage you to give the impression that you are going to push people around so that you get your own way.  Instead, let the Sun bring out that part of you that's highly motivated and, even when the going gets a bit tough, smiling and helpful and full of optimism.  That's all going to get you a long way over the next week or so.

 

VIRGO  Aug 24 - Sep 23

There’s an alliance between Mercury in your sign and Venus this week.   Venus will help you appreciate the value of something you can do brilliantly well and which is going to benefit you in terms of your work or career.   But you've got to let Mercury help you see that to achieve what you want you have got to cut yourself away from a situation in which you seem to spend most of your time trying to back up other people.  No-one's suggesting you shouldn't be charitable and helpful.  But you don't want to feel that you are offering support where it's not really wanted.  And you certainly don't want to neglect your own work and achievements while you are foisting your energy and experience on to somebody else's work or on-going commitments.

 

LIBRA  Sep 24 - Oct 23

This week's Full Moon is emphasising the section of your chart that governs everyday commitments and responsibilities that need sorting out, probably by you.   You need to remind yourself that even the most successful people sometimes have to roll up their sleeves and get down to the nitty-gritty of what needs doing.   There's no point in pretending you can rely on other people to get everything done to your high standard on your behalf because no-one can fulfil your obligations in quite the way you can.   So bite the bullet, make a list and do everything that's expected of you.  And look forward to the point at which you can breathe a sigh of relief and say that everything is as it should be on the work front.  It shouldn't take you long.

 

 
SCORPIO  Oct 24 - Nov 22

You're likely to react quite strongly to the Full Moon that's occurring in Pisces.  It's going to be highlighting the section of your chart that governs your creativity and innovation.  And there's one particular area in which, if you were to let your imagination run riot, you could score an enormous success.  Don't be afraid to break away from a set of rather stringent rules and regulations about the way you're meant to do things.  Provided you're not taking any risks, enjoy flexing your muscles and dare yourself to be as creative and inventive as you feel like being.  It's going to give you a wonderful sense of liberation but it's also going to get you noticed by people whose opinions really count for something.  It could be the start of something big..

 

SAGITTARIUS  Nov 23 - Dec 21

As it enters the conscientious sign of Virgo the Sun is connecting to the highest point in your chart.  So for the next month or so you can expect to be pushed fairly hard in terms of your work or whatever you do to bring money in.  And you will have the energy to do it justice.  What you mustn't do is to desert other areas in which your attention is also needed.  Remember there are probably one or two relatives who have been left to look after themselves for a bit too long.  Not in practical terms - but certainly emotionally you do allow yourself to get out of touch with loved ones and friends when you've got your head down and you’re focussing on what has to be done. Do something about that.

 


CAPRICORN  Dec 22 - Jan 20

People must understand that although you're game for new challenges, you won’t be used as a scapegoat.  Be glad that Venus is at the highest point of your chart and it's allied to Mercury.  As soon as you realise you're in danger of behaving slightly recklessly, work-wise, you'll find the right words and gestures with which to persuade others that you and they should be sensible and well-informed if venturing into contracts or deals that certain people seem a little bit too nervous to handle themselves.  Yes, you will be happy to take the lead.  But first you must be absolutely sure that everything is in the right place and it's quite feasible to expect that, in return for striving hard and being energetic, you will be rewarded quite handsomely.

 

AQUARIUS  Jan 21 - Feb 19

Think of the Full Moon in Pisces as a reminder that in the past you may have allowed others to persuade you that you haven't sufficient talent or experience in a particular area to give you access to work, contracts or connections.  It's important that you remain realistic as you're half-expecting people who are beginning to feel they are falling behind you to actually help you overtake them at an even faster rate.  Why would they do that?   Why wouldn't they prefer to see you struggle a bit more on your own and deprive you of certain advantages that they probably can provide for you but which they want to hold on to for themselves?  Yes, there's quite a lot of rivalry around you.  But that's not going to hold you back, is it?

 

PISCES  Feb 20 - Mar 20

Cash in on the fact that Venus is in Libra so it's helping you connect to people with whom you can make your own kind of music.   You and they will acknowledge the fact that you don't have to do things in the way they've always been done.  You can be inventive.   Just be glad you will know how to share the credit with whoever else is responsible.  How nice to think that you'll be standing shoulder-to-shoulder with somebody who deserves to succeed, as you indeed do - but this someone also knows that you have special talents and expertise.  And this is the point at which all of that should be put on show.   One particular opportunity to go up in the estimation of one or two VIPs is not to be missed.
