ARIES   Mar 21 - Apr 20

Pluto in a very public position in your chart is at right angles to both Jupiter and Mars suggesting that aspects of your private life or partnership affairs threaten to get in the way of moves you want to make on a financial or professional level.  Focus on whatever deal or undertaking you’re having to commit to.  And talk quite firmly but politely to a loved one who might be making you feel guilty for wanting to remain business-like.  You do become preoccupied when your responsibilities in the wider world seem to eclipse everything else, but that’s just the way you are.  Explain that to the people closest to you and ask for a little bit of patience and understanding.  It could mean you make a much better job of what you’re trying to achieve.

 

TAURUS  Apr 21 - May 21

With Mars opposing Jupiter you’ll realise that some facet of your working life could become a problem - largely because somebody resents moves being made or action being taken.  It’s possible that you have been assuming control of an area about which this particular individual is quite possessive.   He or she will think that you’re an intruder.  And this is the kind of passive-aggression you’ll be tapping into when you start wondering why you’re being treated in a cool, unfriendly fashion.  With Jupiter involved, even the slightest little hitch or glitch can be blown up out of all proportion.  Why not start by trying to take the pressure off and broach the subject in an adult, reasonable way?   Get it right and it will save you and everyone else a lot of trouble.

 

GEMINI  May 22 - Jun 21

Something of a joint financial or business nature will be crying out for your creative input.   However, other people will be secretly hoping you can’t come up with the goods because it would show you off in a better light than the one in which they’re being perceived.    Tension being created between Pluto and Mars means you need to show you have no intention of failing or getting anything wrong.  Nor are you going to be thrown by the way in which those involved seem to be waiting for you to show that you’re actually a pretty ordinary individual and you’re nothing really special.   But you know differently, don’t you?  You are special - and you’ve got something unique to offer a situation in which it would be greatly appreciated.  Don’t even think about holding back. 

 

CANCER   Jun 22 - Jul 23

As Jupiter forms a right-angle to Pluto a project linked to your work or the way your money comes in or goes out could be a source of heated discussions.  Don’t panic but remember that people are watching you. So it’s a good time to show yourself off at your most decisive but controlled.   After all you don’t want to give anyone the impression that you’re likely to go off like a rocket and cause no end of problems.  You’re dealing with people who don’t realise that, even though you can come across as business-like and objective, you also have deep feelings about whatever you’re responsible for.   Would it hurt to let these people see that even if, like the crab, you’re protected by a tough shell, you’re actually quite soft inside?

 

LEO   Jul 24 - Aug 23 

Be prepared to prove you’ve been industrious and conscientious even though on the surface you might appear to have been enjoying the good times as you so often do.   You’re rather image-conscious so you like to appear as though you’re someone who can get exactly the right mix of seriousness and light-heartedness running through your life.  It’s just a pity that observers often see more of one side of your personality than the other.  This week, as Pluto squares up to Mars, you might have to spell out to one or two people that you’ve done rather well within a challenging area.  You don’t have to brag about it.  But do let Pluto’s influence help you come across as being well-aware of your own power and capable of using it productively. 

 

VIRGO  Aug 24 - Sep 23

The fact that Venus enters Libra this week does mean that it will be helping you reassess some kind of money-related situation in which others have almost certainly made mistakes.  You won’t want to appear to hold it against them.   But obviously you’d like to know that these mistakes are not likely to be repeated.   Let Venus help you find exactly the right tone with which to seek reassurance from the people involved that you and they can work together in the future in a companionate, positive and profitable way.   And show that as far as you’re concerned, it doesn’t all have to be hard slog.  Working in a way that is pleasurable and enjoyable is almost certainly the best means of reaping the most generous rewards and the most meaningful recognition.

 

LIBRA  Sep 24 - Oct 23

Let everyone see you’ll do your best to improve any tricky situations on the work or financial front.  But you can’t be expected to perform miracles.  You’ll be in a philosophical mood especially as your ruler Venus is entering your sign.  This is why you’ll be able to quickly assess the real worth of ideas being put forward.  And you’ll find a polite and reasonable-sounding way of rejecting those that will be of no use.  People on the receiving end of your critical comments should realise you’re doing what’s best for everyone concerned so there’s no need to be sycophantic or to be afraid to tell the truth.  The bonus is that colleagues or associates being given the green light when you discuss their ideas will have no doubt that you’ve every confidence in them.

 

SCORPIO  Oct 24 - Nov 22

Re-think ways in which you handle everyday but nevertheless crucial responsibilities as a result of a run-in between Venus and Uranus.  You can expect to be more innovative than usual.  And that’s fine except you might bring out resistance in those people who like to do things the same old way time and again.   You should also expect to become more strident when challenged by anybody who suggests you’re unaware of the true value of whatever area you’re meant to be masterminding.   Instead of letting the culprit think you’re hurt or upset, you’re likely to show your anger and resentment.   Just make sure you retain a balanced view of the situation and you don’t allow it to become entirely combative.   A peaceful solution might still be the best option. 

 

SAGITTARIUS  Nov 23 - Dec 21

It won’t be difficult to come up with a creative solution to a financial or business problem.  But bear in mind that with Pluto challenging your ruler Jupiter certain people might think you’re trying to steal their thunder.    They’ll assume that a power struggle is about to take place and they could become very defensive.   Your best bet is to behave as you normally would and not to rise to the bait if you hear cynical or ironic comments about how well you’re performing.   Retaining your dignity is vitally important and you mustn’t come across as wounded, near-hysterical or sulky.   Don’t be surprised if before long those same people who were trying to bring you down end up having to show their appreciation for what you’ve done for them.  But you might have to wait.

 

 
CAPRICORN  Dec 22 - Jan 20

Venus entering Libra on Saturday 7th August  brings to the most visible point of your chart a sense of fairness, even-handedness, beauty and balance.   These are all qualities that will prove extremely useful in terms of likely developments on the business or financial front.   And when Venus goes on to join forces with Saturn, you might well be in a position to mastermind a deal or project that promises to repay you and certain other people quite handsomely.   Never forget that Saturn is there to remind you not to take unnecessary risks and to be fastidious about checking facts and figures.   Anybody suggesting that you’re being too cautious is to be ignored.  Being wise before the event is of far greater use than being regretful after it’s all gone wrong.

 

AQUARIUS  Jan 21 - Feb 19

Without putting yourself under pressure, impose a deadline on a situation which has dragged on for far too long already.   Others seem to be causing unnecessary delays in terms of joint financial or professional involvements.   And as, at the weekend, Venus leaves the section of your chart that governs joint business or money-related matters, it might be wise to insist that those people involved make decisions and provide answers to questions over which they’ve been fairly uncooperative.   This does not have to become the cause of a huge battle.  But with the diplomacy and skill that Venus is highlighting for the next few days, you should be able to move things on quite dramatically.   Just don’t make the other people involved resent you for getting on their case.  Be subtle about it.

 

 
PISCES  Feb 20 - Mar 20

Money and achievements will become major talking points.  And it won’t take you long to realise that certain individuals are playing for time.  This is either because they don’t know what to do or they want to wait until they can get the upper hand.   With Jupiter opposed by Mars you’ll suddenly be unafraid to oppose those who won’t collaborate or cooperate.   And you’re right to use the energy of Mars and the extra confidence being provided by Jupiter to insist that action is taken and things start to move in the right direction.   True,  there’s a slight danger that you’ll come across as more driven and less compliant than usual.  But when you think about it, you’ll have to admit that that’s more likely to do you good than harm.
