ARIES   Mar 21 - Apr 20

When it comes to your work you need to bear in mind that you could easily become somewhat heavy-handed in your dealings with colleagues, associates or possibly the big boss.  You see, you have got Pluto hovering over a very visible point in your chart as it gets into a tussle with Venus.   And because you’ll feel that your authority is being questioned or your confidence is being undermined, you’ll immediately become defensive.  You’ll strive to make it absolutely clear that you won’t hear a word said against the way you live your life or your means of earning a living or gaining recognition in your particular field.  Just don’t let Pluto encourage you to become so punchy that people visibly back-off.  Make your point but without making enemies.

 

TAURUS  Apr 21 - May 21

The fact that Jupiter is opposing Venus suggests that you may have to reassess the validity of tasks or duties being foisted upon you by someone who likes to call all the shots.   Yes, you’re happy to co-operate with those who have a genuine reason to ask for help from those close by.   But you’re not so keen when it becomes fairly obvious that you’re being used as a servant or a run-around by someone who enjoys taking a very superior position.   Jupiter will magnify the anger and resentment you feel if you’re not careful so be ready to count to ten and walk away from any situation where you and this person capable of irritating you so much are about to come face-to-face with one another.   Avoidance can be a very positive action.

 

GEMINI  May 22 - Jun 21

Somebody questioning your attitude to a joint effort is likely to touch a nerve in you.  Don’t overreact, especially as Pluto is at right angles to Venus.  You could become so incensed with whoever is involved that you’ll jeopardise carefully-made plans by becoming unusually aggressive.  Think about it for a moment and you’ll have to admit that it’s not your usual style and it’s unlikely to do you very much good.   So if you must have your say then do it in a way that enables you to retain your dignity and to come across as intelligent and well-informed.  People are watching and this is a point at which your image and reputation are likely to count a great deal.   Practise curbing your temper, biting your tongue, counting to ten and letting go.

 

CANCER   Jun 22 - Jul 23

Money might be a major issue as far as some other people are concerned.  But you’re about to learn that it’s only one of the important ingredients required if a set-up with which you’re involved is to flourish and succeed.  This is why the New Moon in Leo is likely to impact you so much because it will emphasise the point that you’re undoubtedly the one with a number of assets and resources which none of the people around you can boast.  Try not to be too critical of them for focussing solely on the financial picture.   Instead be glad that you were taught some while ago that a number of qualities are required if people like you are to compete in a very challenging marketplace.   It seems you’ve learned your lessons well.

 

LEO   Jul 24 - Aug 23 

You may have been wondering recently why it has seemed hard for you to make the progress you’ve wanted in terms of work, plans or projects you normally find enjoyable and worthwhile.  Don’t underestimate the impact of all the other things you’ve had going on in your life.   You’ve been in demand, here there are everywhere else, with barely enough time to pause for breath.  And you certainly haven’t had a moment to generate exciting, original ideas.   But this is all likely to change as Uranus, planet of the surprising and the unusual, reverses as it were into Pisces this week.   This is going to put you in touch with someone who will see immediately how quickly you could come up with dreams and schemes that will leave everybody else standing still.  

 

VIRGO  Aug 24 - Sep 23

Take into account the fact that  Jupiter is opposed by Saturn on Monday 16 August.  At the point at which you’re fairly confident that you have everything you need at your fingertips to make something important work for you, someone could challenge you.   But instead of leaving you feeling rattled and riled it will actually stimulate you into owning what you have and making it clear that you’re not going to give up one iota of it no matter how much others want to get their hands on it.   You’re full of ideas, innovation and dedication to your cause.   Why would you stand back and allow anyone to rob you of something you not only understand but you also regard as being a very special part of you? 

 

LIBRA  Sep 24 - Oct 23

Never forget that you sometimes accuse yourself of being a little too conventional in your approach to areas of work or commitment which you do value highly.  You mustn’t be so critical of yourself that you fail to recognise just how much you accomplish and how impressed other people are with the results that you produce.   True, you do very often stick to the tried and tested ways of working.  And as Uranus reverses into Pisces you might well explore ideas and methods which a short while ago you’d have felt were far too wacky and wonderful for somebody like you.  But they’re not.   Dare to prove that you can embrace difference and eccentricity in a way that positively flatters and enhances the results you achieve.

 

SCORPIO  Oct 24 - Nov 22

It might sometimes seem that you are destined to remain in one place or operate at one level within your work or profession.  Please don’t underestimate the impact of the New Moon occurring at a visible point in your chart.  It should mean that you suddenly have the courage to jettison some long-established ways of operating and open your mind to fairly revolutionary ideas.   Yes, there will be those who accuse you of being too radical but by that time you’ll have the courage of your convictions to show that you’re going to stick with whatever it is you’re developing fast.   Don’t whatever you do abandon it simply to please the whingers and moaners around you.   It won’t be long before they’re wishing they had been wise enough to back you all the way.

 

SAGITTARIUS  Nov 23 - Dec 21

If some of your colleagues, employers or associates are giving you a wide berth, it could be because they sense in you a need to assert yourself quite powerfully.  They realise there’s no need to be fearful of you but Pluto’s run-in with Venus could make it hard for others to trust you to remain calm within a situation that has the potential to create waves of resentment and uncertainty.   It’s important that you make it quite obvious that you’re perfectly approachable and you certainly don’t intend to make enemies no matter how edgy one or two situations might become.   It will help if you can add a touch of light-heartedness to the proceedings and prove that you consider a sense of humour to be a great asset, even when the going gets tough.

 

 
CAPRICORN  Dec 22 - Jan 20

A colleague, partner or associate can impact you quite powerfully  when you’re unsure about deals or contracts under consideration.   You’ve perhaps been thinking of yourself as sufficiently independent to pick your own way through complex procedures.  But this week’s New Moon is underlining the fact that there’s someone close by whose skills and talents complement your own in the best possible way.   And when the two of you compare your strengths and experience it will become obvious that work-wise you’re a perfect fit for one another.   Be glad you’re being encouraged to consider shared endeavours in a new and more enlightened way.  Never doubt that you’re dealing with someone who is  equally keen to join forces with you.  Energy co-created by the two of you will prove invaluable.  Who could walk away from it?

 

AQUARIUS  Jan 21 - Feb 19

Plans might require extra funding which could at first make you feel somewhat defeated. But then you’ll realise that if you can get round this potential problem you’ll make an even better impression on people in authority who are already aware that you’ve a lot of talent at your fingertips.  New confidence in your own creativity and ingenuity will be easy to access once Uranus reverses into Pisces.  This means that this planet of the unusual and original will start making its way through the section of your chart that governs your gifts and strengths.   This helps explain why conventional thinking will suddenly seem old hat.   Just don’t go out of your way to alienate those who aren’t ready to buy in to more inventive approaches.  Leave them behind, discreetly,  if you must.

 

PISCES  Feb 20 - Mar 20

Ignore those complaining about having to knuckle down to everyday tasks when they much prefer to be thinking creatively.  True, what is expected of them isn’t entirely stimulating.  But they need to be reminded that the basics have to be attended to if things are to run smoothly and successfully.  The New Moon in Leo might help you persuade those who are most critical and uncooperative that they’re not wasting their time.  There are valid reasons as to why a number of mundane responsibilities have to be fulfilled if more original endeavours are to be pursued.   Don’t be surprised if one particular person quickly gets the gist of what you’re saying and invests time and energy in doing what has to be done.  This is the mark of a winner in the making.
