My d.o.b. 3/30/1971, Seattle, WA, USA 9:55am PST
Help me stop Obsessing!! Though I have had many crushes in my time, (I am currently just divorced) I find myself actually very obsessed with a younger man (10/07/1983, San Diego, CA, USA time unknown) who wooed me then suddenly backed off. He says I need to be patient and that his feeling for me are the same as always. But our once constant contact (including IM's, emails, phone) has all but stopped. As I must deal with him daily through work, it has caused me much anguish and sad to say induced me to make a pathetic fool of myself. As I cannot seem to even act naturally around him! Such as I apologize for the things I imagine must have been the cause of his cooling. Why have I become so engrossed with this man, and am I just being strung along? Thank you so much.
p.s. We have not yet had a physical relationship- we were on the verge of that (a vacation) when he cooled.

It's obvious you've scared this man. You're over anxious and you must back off. Indications are that they'll be somebody else in your life before this time next year. Have a good time and enjoy yourself but don't make any commitments that you can't get out of until next year.
