ARIES
Have creative ideas have been swimming around in your head this autumn? Or perhaps you fell in love recently? Whatever has been going on, November marks a turning point – time to make those creative ideas happen, or time to begin taking a new relationship a little deeper. Learning new skills is a good thing to be doing now. Mars, your ruling planet, enters Virgo on 11th November, where it remains until 3rd July 2012. Much complaining and the purchasing of many anti-bacterial products are forecast, but you can make excellent use of this energy to work at things that need a fine eye for detail. Your physical well-being is also in focus for all those months – any new exercise regimes or healthy eating plans should bring results. Avoid insane, cranky diets and eccentric gurus but otherwise, all should be well.

TAURUS
Extremely deceptive, confusing energies prevail for many of you in early November. It is a terrible time to make financial decisions, but a wonderful time for dreams, fantasies and other imaginative mental pursuits or entertainments. Exploring will help you loosen up a bit, and become more flexible. The approaching eclipse on the 25th demands juggling skills - you’ll learn all about working with others in new ways at home and at work. Mars in Virgo from the 11th until next summer promises to boost romance, creative energy, and the ability to get things moving. But you will need to be open and willing to change if you’re to make the most of it. Beware procrastination, it could smother some very life-enhancing opportunities. If you’ve been dithering about something, this would be a good month in which to finally make up your mind.

GEMINI
The eclipse in Sagittarius on the 25th, plus another in Gemini in December, are significant for you. How you see yourself, and how you view others in your life are both areas of thought-provoking conversations, events, or decisions –  this is a long-term theme that began last December.  And now, Mars jumps into the mix with its long stay in Virgo, stirring up home and family matters well into 2012.  You’ve some outstanding support though, and a friendship or working partnership with a woman should really help you share some of the craziness. Mercury, your ruler, backtracks from the 24th November until mid-December. Yes, this can be very irritating, but it is also a useful time to review plans, thoughts, and ideas. Talking things over with a trusted friend clarifies things for you. Then all you have to do is make some decisions. Easy.

CANCER
This is often a rather luscious time of year for you, a time when you can indulge your sensual side. And there’s certainly an element of this around, but you’ll have to be quite determined to make time for pleasure. Other planet moves suggest many visitors, people with ideas to share, and friends with various dilemmas all keen to get you involved. This month’s full Moon on the 10th suggests one job or even friendship is coming to the end of a phase. But the Sagittarian eclipse on the 25th won’t let you rest for long since it energises matters to do with work, routines, and your well-being. Use the fortunate vibes of Saturn and Spica to chill out mid-November and listen to your inner guru. Then take your own excellent advice. This cannot help but be a busy, distracting time. But if you take control it doesn’t have to be a draining one.

LEO
Neptune in Aquarius dallies with Mars in Leo as November begins, casting a bewitching fog over your activities and perceptions. So get spiritual and allow cosmic confusion to ebb away before you begin making any major purchases or important decisions.  A Taurus full Moon shines on the road ahead on the 10th, and brings something to an end. Meanwhile, the spiky Sagittarian new Moon is also a solar eclipse and promises to activate romance, grand designs, and other things of joy. You will need to tread softly when dealing with others’ feelings though, and exercise tact and empathy.  This is a wonderful time for enjoying old friends, old flames, and revisiting some of those brilliant ideas you’ve had with a view to making them happen. Some charming flirty moments entertain you, but don’t lose your momentum.

VIRGO
Some uplifting changes to your home, or some warm and wonderful family moments, promise to put a smile on your face this month. It’s a nice time to entertain at home too, just expect a few surprises or even an unexpected declaration of hot love and passion. The continuing pattern of eclipses in Sagittarius and Gemini means that some of you are thinking of working from home, while others are looking at ways to showcase skills and talents. Mars will be in your sign from the 11th until next July, giving you a feisty edge for all that time, driving you to achieve those changes you desire. Try to keep your most pointed remarks to yourself though, Mars can indicate fights and arguments and you don’t need to alienate helpful people at such a busy time. Oh, and Mercury is retrograde 24th November until 14th December. Expect delays and all the usual shenanigans – you know how it goes by now.

LIBRA
Oh, you’ll be whizzing around this month. Between the 2nd and the 25th your ruler, Venus, travels through lively Sagittarius - where she’s joined by chatty Mercury. The symbolic message here is charming communications – think flirting, cajoling, persuading, or buttering up potential employers. Take advantage, there’s no time to waste. Mid November sees a fortunate link between Saturn, now in Libra, and Spica – a star that promises helpful events. This would be a good time to settle things or begin a serious long-term project – birthdays from the 15th-18th most of all. Behind the scenes there’s a relentless drip, drip, drip of pressure to improve circumstances at home, or to deal with certain family issues. Help arrives from an unlikely quarter, so grab it when you see it. Practicality triumphs over idealistic dreams. Remember, perfection is death – just compromise.

SCORPIO
The Sun travels in lonely state through Scorpio this month, suggesting that you’ll be more dependant than usual on the kindness of strangers, and the goodwill of those you love. But it promises to be a helpful time for money matters, perhaps even a turning point.  And once Mars enters Virgo for it’s spectacularly long stay (November to July 2012), you’ll find enthusiasm and energy flow from shared projects and ventures involving others. Links between expansive Jupiter, Mars and Pluto mid-month create a positive atmosphere if you want to sort things out with a partner, lover or friend – or if you simply want to get closer to someone and create a more fulfilling relationship. You need to act on your desires though, the cosmic weather encourages you, but it cannot make anything happen without your involvement.

SAGITTARIUS
Relationships and partnerships of every kind are always important. And thanks to a series of eclipses in Gemini and Sagittarius, they have been emphasised in your mind and heart for about a year. Expect more intuitions about these things to pop up between now and Christmas – it’s an opportunity to think about what you want for the coming year. Meantime, Mars in Virgo will be travelling back and forth in this sign until next July, stirring things up on the work front and bringing excitement and challenges too.  You may not feel as if you’re achieving much until after Christmas, but bear in mind how what lies beneath the surface tends to simmer away and bring results when you least expect them. You’ll be surprised just how swiftly things move once the brakes come off in the new year. Have a little fun, and be patient.

CAPRICORN
Your thoughts about money, earnings and investments may be rather confused in early November. But from about the 16th you should begin to see things in a new light and it will be easier to find support and enthusiasm for schemes and dreams.  Some of these may be newly-hatched – your ruler, Saturn, meets a most positive fixed star, Spica, this month – favouring interesting career developments or offers. Mars enters earthy Virgo on the 11th, energising your house of exploration and study until July 2012. And with other energies flowing nicely in the earth signs you should be able to find everything you need to get things moving in any direction you desire. Allow yourself room to change your mind though, November’s full Moon (10th) suggests one creative or even romantic chapter is coming to a close. Let go, and remember, what’s for you won’t go past you.

AQUARIUS
If recent months have been all about chaos of one sort or another, take heart. You should begin to see small improvements very soon. Little by little you realise what’s working for you, and what’s been an illusion, or even a delusion. Your values and opinions are changing, just kick back and allow things to develop. Pushing the river at this point is a waste of time and energy. Some lively, interesting friendships or even a brand new love can revitalise you over the next six months or so – adding to that uplifting feeling that your mind is learning to dance to a new tune. This month’s thoughts and events are just the beginning, you can expect the pace to speed up by January. Communications and new contacts are what you need to focus on now – it’s time to open the door and step out into a wider world.

PISCES
You’re rich in goals and dreams, and some of them have been gathering a little dust in the treasure vaults of your mind. But Neptune, one of your ruling planets, turns forward on the 9th beginning its journey towards Pisces and towards a very different era for you.  Mars, too, will be activating everything connected to your partnerships at work and in love – promising some feisty moments between now and next July. And, as if this wasn’t enough, November’s eclipse in Sagittarius gives your goals and career direction a good shake. Whether you’d like to make changes at home, in love, or to your career – it seems as if everything’s up for grabs, and nothing is nailed down. This is a good time to review all your emotions, inspirations and plans. Once you know what you truly want, you can make a move. You may even surprise yourself.
