Spring is on her way. We reach the halfway point between the Winter Solstice and the Spring Equinox this week.

Things may be dragging on a bit, thanks to Mars dawdling around in Virgo - but this is still a good week to see what’s happening with winter projects, and think about what you’d like to begin over the next few weeks.

Wednesday 1st February: Deep in our DNA, we’re aware of movement and change. Ancient Neolithic sites, such as passage tombs in Ireland, were aligned with the rising Sun today, and over the next few. Today is the Celtic fire festival of Imbolc, honouring the return of life and light to the northern hemisphere.
Venus and Mars connect today, sexy for some.

Thursday 2nd February: Subtlety and history colour the thoughts and dreams of sensitive people.

Friday 3rd February: Pisces, Virgo, Gemini, Sagittarius - express yourselves! Talk about your passions, ideas, dreams and emotions.
Neptune enters Pisces for a very long stay this evening. It travels through Pisces until 2026. This will have a unique effect on our culture. For more about this see my Guide to Neptune in Pisces. The planet of dreams has not been in its home sign of Pisces since the mid-19th century. If you have planets at 0 - 4 degrees of Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius or Pisces you will feel it’s dreamy, dissolving vibrations this year.
