Monday 9th January: Full Moon rises at 18 degrees of Cancer the Crab.

Friday 13th January: A remarkably busy cosmic day that really could be lucky for some of us, memorable for others. Hmmn.

The Sun in sensible Capricorn meets Mars in hard-working Virgo - boosting down-to-earth energy for practical projects. Meanwhile, Venus and Saturn link up to favour serious relationships and financial plans. Venus also meets romantic, spiritual Neptune - beautiful dreams, art and music prevail, just check out anyone you don’t know very well before you get too carried away. And, to top it all off, asteroid Eros, named for the god of falling in love, passes by a mere 17 million miles from Earth, travelling through the early degrees of Virgo. In one corner of the universe, love flows.

Mercury meets underworld Pluto and those who enjoy detective fiction or in-depth research should have a field day. Mercury and Pluto, representing deep thoughts and the desire to transform toxic situations, also square up to the primal forces of asteroid Typhon.  Events transform, sometimes, by showing us things we cannot control, such as extreme weather, volcanoes, earthquakes, storms and so on. We may receive a powerful message from the Earth today or tomorrow. Or from our own subconscious minds. These dramatic energies are catalysts for Capricorns, Librans, Aries and Cancerians - or for people and places with 7 degrees of the Cardinal signs in their horoscopes - that includes the United Kingdom, the United Nations, and Australia.

Saturday 14th January: Venus enters Pisces, a sign where she is very happy, soppy, and romantic.  Venus meets Jupiter, softening hearts and minds too, probably. However, yesterday’s strong energies will take time to settle. A day to open your heart, and find some inner harmony and balance.
